Now you and your family can relax into your cushions whether they are on your bed, the couch or even the floor! Specifically developed as a proven barrier against dust mite allergens, these AllerProtect washable cushions can be plumped to your hearts content without the risk of throwing more allergen particles into the air. They can also be adjusted to the level of fill you prefer.
Made with MiteGuard's 3.5 micron natural cotton micro-weave dust mite barrier fabric and filled with 400g of hypoallergenic fibre knops, these cushions are versatile - great for your beds, couches or as a scatter cushion. The filling is the same as our very popular pillows.
The knops are small balls of fluffy hypoallergenic, moisture resistant polyester fibre, that have a good loft and feel soft and comfortable. The cushion has a small zip opening so you can add or remove filling to make it just the right comfort level. You can also purchase additional fill here. The barrier fabric blocks both dust mite and cat allergen from getting into the fill.
Our AllerProtect cushion inner is washable in hot water and can be tumble dried - perfect to get rid of those allergens from dust mites and pets!
You can put your own favourite decorative cushion cover over the top.

Product Care
Wash your MiteGuard® Covers in hot water (60°C) every 3 months. We recommend doing a hot wash every time the seasons change.
In the meantime, you can vacuum your covers, or wipe them with a damp cloth between washes to keep allergen levels down.
Is it a dust mite allergy?
Frequent sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose and itchy eyes at bedtime are common symptoms of a Dust Mite allergy. You might also cough, have a wheeze or develop eczema.
